  • Hood & Tassel is a self perpetuating honorary society organized in 1940 to give outstanding seniors college recognition. Members are chosen based on service, leadership, character, and scholarship. The Class of 1955 members are, left to right: Mary Katherine Moseley (Mary Kay); Nancy Elizabeth Follett (Nan), (Mrs. Richard Waichler); Joan Evans (Jay), (Mrs. Frederick G. Taylor); Nancy Joan Smith (Mrs. D.B. Bierwerth); Sondra Lou Blumberg (Sandy), (Mrs. Charles Sonneborn).
