Description
The 1907 Pittsburgh City Directory lists four men with the last name Critchlow. Two named James H. and James W. Critchlow, both of which were laborers, residing at 5231 Carnegie Street in Pittsburgh’s 18th Ward. The directory also lists a Henry K. Critchlow, residing at 33 Wilmont Square, who worked as a manager at 624 Penn Avenue, and a Robert N. Critchlow, clerk, residing at 5239 Carnegie Street. Frederick Theodore Wagner, son of August and Elizabeth, was a Pittsburgh photographer who often photographed his relatives, children, and friends. Wagner, whose parents emigrated from Germany, worked for the railroads. He died in Wayne, Pennsylvania, on October 22, 1956.
