Description
Contains a detailed review of the history, age, and ownership of 843 Beech Avenue, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is a three-story brick and stone house occupying a 70'g" wide by 137'4.5" deep lot located in the Allegheny West section of the city of Pittsburgh. The house was built by Jacob F. Diffenbacher, publisher of the Pittsburgh city directory, in 1892 or 1893. He lived there until his death in 1898, and his wife Susan lived in the home until she sold the house in 1903.
