An image of the office buildings for the United States Engineer Department (now known as the United States Army Corps of Engineers), storage yard, and railroad exchange for the Pittsburgh & Steubenville Railroad near Lock and Dam 5 of the Allegheny River. Several workers and a child can be seen in the image. Lock and Dam 5 was located near Freeport, Pa.
