An image of the tipple used by the Clyde Coal Company with filled barges nearby. A tipple is a structure used to transport mined goods, typically by railroad hopper cars. The Clyde Coal Company owned the mine attached to this tipple until the W. J. Rainey, Inc. purchased it in 1928.
