Description
View of the D. L. Clark Company building, including the North Side neighborhood and Downtown area of Pittsburgh, Pa. In 1911, the Clark Company considerably expanded its business by acquiring a candy and cracker company on Martin Street (later Martindale Street). Until 1986, the Clark Company remained at its North Side location. As a result, the oversized Clark sign atop the factory became a longstanding Pittsburgh landmark.
