  • Four men standing on running boards of automobile to demonstrate strength of Herculite glass windshields. Developed by PPG for the commercial market, Herculite was a tempered glass that was reheated and rapidly cooled through a process that results in the glass being three to seven times stronger in addition to being heat resistant.
