Description
Construction of PPG Place taken from Mount Washington in October 1982. PPG Industries broke ground on PPG Place on January 28, 1981. Designed by the John Burgee architecture firm with Philip Johnson, PPG Place stands 635 feet tall and is covered with nearly one million square feet of PPG Solarban 500 clear reflective glass. PPG place was dedicated on April 11, 1984.
