Description
The 11 Mile House aka the Pine Creek Hotel stood on Perry Highway (Route 19) in the village of Pine Creek in Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. The two story clapboard structure housed a bar/restaurant on the first floor and living quarters on the second. The dates of construction and demolition are unknown. A painted sign attached to the building advertises Hotel/Restaurant/Meals/Lunches/Boarding. A second sign advertises the 11 Mile House. This early view of the building shows Perry Highway as a dirt road.
