Frankie Mae Pace (1905-1989) was a long time activist as the head of the Hill District Community Council. Here she is standing in front of her offices; sign reads Pace's Citizen Committee for Hill District Renewal." She was also the owner of Pace Music Store where she sold literature to the churches and music to the people."
