  • The interior courtyard of the Allegheny County Courthouse at Grant Street and Fifth Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh. The courtyard was used as a parking lot during much of the 1900s, and is now a public park with trees, shrubs, and benches. The Allegheny County Courthouse, designed by Brookline, Massachusetts, architect H.H. Richardson in the Romanesque style, was built between 1884 and 1888.
