Description
Students prepare to dive into the pool in the basement of Andrew W. Mellon Hall. Part of Mellon's extensive renovations to the home in 1917, the pool is believed to be one of the earliest indoor residential pools and possibly the first west of the Allegheny Mountains. Used by the college until 2004, the pool was converted into a board room in 2007.
