Description
Frederick Theodore Wagner, son of August and Elizabeth, was a Pittsburgh photographer who often photographed his relatives, children, friends, and scenes from his neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s Hill District section. Frederick Theodore Wagner, whose parents emigrated from Germany, worked for the railroads. He died in Wayne, Pennsylvania, on October 22, 1956. The mill workers pictured posing with their tools probably worked at the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation located on Second Avenue.
