  • Frederick Theodore Wagner, son of August and Elizabeth, was a Pittsburgh photographer who often photographed his relatives, children, and friends. Frederick Theodore Wagner, whose parents emigrated from Germany, worked for the railroads. Frederick Theodore Wagner married Elizabeth Margaret Smith (Margaret) on December 8, 1900. They had four children, Marguerite, Theodore, John, and Elizabeth, before Margaret died in 1910. Theodore then remarried Anna Elizabeth Smith (Lizzie) and had two more children, August and Robert. The children pictured are possibly Wagner’s nieces.
