Description
Busy intersection at Liberty Avenue, Ferry and Diamond Streets in downtown Pittsburgh. In the background is the Wabash Terminal, the largest example of Beaux-Arts architecture in Pittsburgh, and was once one of the grandest railroad terminals in the United States before it was destroyed by fire in 1946. The structure was razed in the mid-1950s to make way for the Gateway Center development project.
