Description
A fireman checks the board for the location of a fire read from a ticker-tape machine at the Engine and Truck Company No. 29 in Pittsburgh’s Homewood section. The original Engine House was placed into service on December 3, 1900, at 7601 Hamilton Avenue. The old Engine House was demolished and a new one built on the existing foundation in February 1953.
