Description
The Strip District is east of downtown Pittsburgh. Once a lovely wooded riverbank, then a residential area, and later a manufacturing and produce distribution point, the Strip District in recent years has become an entertainment center for the city. Penn Avenue is on the left and Liberty Avenue is on the right. In the foreground is the Greyhound Bus Terminal and railroad tracks leading to the Amtrak, formerly the Pennsylvania Railroad Station.
