The Pittsburgh Arts and Crafts Center, known today as the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, located at Fifth and Shady Avenues in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, has long offered a schedule of classes for aspiring Pittsburgh artists. Here a student in the sculpture class taught by Eugene Gittings puts finishing touches on her work.
