Description
"Eugene Aram convicted at York Assizes on August 3, 1759, for the murder of Daniel Clark of knaresborough forest in the county of York. His body was hung in Chains pursant to his sentance in knareseborough forest. Executed fourteen Years after the murder. His own defence is very artful and ingenious, but yet before he suffer'd he confess'd the fact." Published by W. Richardson Castle Str. & Leicester Fields.
