Description
View of downtown Pittsburgh featuring the Grant Building in the background. The forty-story Grant Building, constructed of limestone and brick, was completed in 1927. The tower at the top of the structure was a neon-covered beacon tower, the largest at the time it was built. It spells Pittsburgh" in Morse code."
