View of Engine No. 23 featuring Colonel Schoonmaker and his guests celebrating Pittsburgh's Sesquicentennial. Schoonmaker was responsible for the construction of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad Terminal and Passenger Station, built between 1898 and 1901, and he hired William George Burns as architect.
