  • A view of the north end of the 30th Street Bridge [Herr's Island Bridge] looking to the site of Lambro's Restaurant at 1814 East Ohio Street. Herr's Island was renamed Washington's Landing when the City of Pittsburgh removed industrial waste left by a century of stockyards, meat-packing plants, warehouses, and oil refineries making the island habitable.
