View of the John Schultz House following the 1889 Flood. The Schultz House was famously impaled by a large tree as the flood wave came through Johnstown; miraculously, the six people in the house all survived. Following the Flood, Roberts visited and photographed several different sites in the city. In this photograph, Roberts is the second man from the left under the tree trunk.
