  • A float of roses on a truck commemorating the Kaufmann's Department Store 62nd anniversary. A decorative sign stating "Deeds Not Words" is included on the float. Pictured here before Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the float was one of several sporting various mottoes which paraded the streets of Pittsburgh to advertise the store's anniversary.
