  • Pitcairn Relief Fire Company No. 2 was organized in 1896, and the latest fire-fighting apparatus, a horse-drawn hook and ladder truck was purchased in 1902. Over the years Pitcairn’s Hose Company No. 2 provided faithful service to the community, and proudly participated in many community events and parades like this 4th of July parade in Wilmerding.
