Description
Three Degree Road (currently Babcock Boulevard) in Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. Photo shows a rural dirt road bending to the left. A gas station (Wildwood Service Station) is seen with Wildwood Road bearing off to the right. (At this time Wildwood Road did not connect to Ingomar Road.) Several gas pumps are seen with gas advertised at $.33 "Cones" available. A low shed advertises Free Air and Oil $.25. To the left of the station there is a large advertising sculpture. The sculpture features a large open book on a brick pedastal. "United States Tires" and an image of a tire are seen on the right-hand page of the book. A house is seen in the distance around the bend. Photo shows station 439.
