Description
View of the grocery department of Glosser Brothers Department Store ("Glossers") featuring the meat section. The Glossers, a family of Jewish immigrants from Russia, opened the store in the early 1900s with a modest loan of $200. The store went on to become a Johnstown institution specializing in men's and women's clothing as well as housewares and groceries.
