This collection aims to provide a glimpse of student life and academics at Pitt through student publications, such as the Pitt News, yearbooks, the Pittsburgh Undergraduate Review, and others. Also included are commencement and honors convocation programs, which document the academic achievements of many students. The notebook of Joseph Larwill, a Pittsburgh Academy student, is also present in this collection to provide a sampling of the lessons provided in the earliest years of the university.
