Description
Ninth Grader Linda Washington of Herron Hill Junior High School, surrounded by her court, was crowned “Queen of the May Festival” during ceremonies held at the school. The school’s faculty nominated outstanding students for the honor and the students voted for the “Queen.” The annual event was sponsored by the Girls Gym Department under the supervision of teachers Martha Hunt and Dorothy Marstiller.
