  • Westinghouse High School star Allen Lee attempts a rebound against opposing team on the basketball court at Fifth Avenue High School. The audience watches as both teams jump for the basketball, the referee runs along side of the court to catch the play. Photograph was possibly taken for City Sports in 1961. Basketball players are wearing jerseys with numbers on the front and back, shorts, knee high socks, and sneakers. Their shoes are Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, the original basketball shoe.
