Description
Five nurses take blood from donors. The nurses are wearing white uniforms with handkerchief caps, designed ca. 1940. One has a Red Cross badge on her sleeve. The donors are all men in business dress. On the back wall, posters read: For Defense, Blood...Life," and they feature a medic holding a blood bag above a wounded soldier on a battlefield."
