Description
Debris covers the sidewalk and street of1317 Wylie Avenue in the Lower Hill District after a fire at Wylie Cut Rate Market. The building's windows are missing, the storefront is empty and covered in soot. On its window is a flyer for [Holy Cross?] Science Temple. To the left is John Pola[...] Restaurant and the Goodwill Store is on the right. A woman wearing a fur coat and white gloves picks her way through the debris, watched by a group of men. Clothing style dates to ca. 1940-1950.
