Description
A shot of the Penn Incline and the Allegheny River seen from the top of the incline at Ridgeway Street. The incline carried passengers and goods between the Strip District and the Hill. The tallest building on the left belongs to the Refrigeration Equipment Co. The Sixteenth Street Bridge appears on the left. The style of the automobiles and clothing dates to c. 1945-1955. The incline was dismantled in 1953.
