Description
Civic leaders in Pittsburgh joining hands with Jesse Jackson (president and founder of the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition). An unidentified woman in a black dress, Clyde Jackson (founder of the United Black Front in 1968), Robert Lavelle (president of Dwelling House Savings and Loan), and Harvey Adams (president of local NAACP) appear with Jackson. Jackson is wearing a medallion with profile portrait possibly representing Martin Luther King. Another image of Jackson wearing the same medallion has been dated May 1973.
