Larry Steele, legendary singer and master of ceremonies for many jazz shows in the Hill District, on stage. Steele is wearing a light colored suit with a thin striped tie. On the back wall of the stage is a large woven tapestry of the exterior of a building with gardens; an intricate pattern borders this image. Clothing dates to ca. 1940-1950.
