Description
Wynona Graves owned the LaSalle Beauty Salon at 2110 Centre Avenue by 1938, with co-owners Beatrice Farrish, Evelyn Farrish, Veola Moon, and Louise Farrish. She was sole owner by 1941. In 1948 she is no longer listed in city directories, and her former partner Veola Moon had opened the LaSalle Memorial Beauty Salon at 1539 Centre Avenue. The circular backdrop appears in many portraits Harris made in his studio in the 1930s and 40s.
