Description
World War II soldiers on Mack Ave riding in an open GP (Jeep model standard MB). The Jeep was originally a military vehicle built for the U.S. Army, later consumer models of this off-road vehicle were designed. Consumer stores such as Knox Furniture, Dunlap Shoes and Menswear, the Mack Avenue Market can be seen on the left side of the street. Ca. 1941-1946
