Goode's Pharmacy (William W. Goode, owner) was located at 1303 Wylie Avenue. William Goode took over the business from Jennings and Brown, black pharmacists in the Hill District since 1907. Roy Campanella played catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team from 1948 to 1957. The poster also mentions players Joe Black and Junior Gilliam, who joined the Dodgers in 1953.
