Description
The Gaines Funeral Home, George W. Gaines proprietor, had opened at 220 Auburn Street in the East Liberty neighborhood by 1941. The Gaines family lived on the premises at 220-224 Auburn. Here, hearses and limousines are parked in front of the building, which has a striped awning leading to the front door. A sign above the door reads: Gaines.
