Description
Three informally dressed young men holding certificates pose with a group of older men in suits. The men were members of the city sanitation workers' union, which had a tradition of helping and recognizing youths in the community. Andy Goodson stands on the right end of the front row. The men in the back stand on a platform, and the room also contains a clock and a framed collection of formal portraits. The style of clothing suggests a date ca. 1950-1965.
